Welcome and thank you for visiting us. I am Father Michael Messina, pastor of Risen Christ Holy Spirit Church. Our community is eager to get to know you, serve you, and to share the ways Jesus has blessed us. We are one friendly, joyous, happy group of people who love the Lord, and you will see it and experience it every Sunday.

This is a very unique community in the American Old Catholic Church. Half of our congregation would say they are Catholic and the other half would say they come from backgrounds such as Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Assembly of God or Evangelical. You might wonder, how can or does this work? There can only be one reason. Jesus! The truth is, we’re not worried about what denomination you call yourself, what we care about is that you love Jesus, want Him as your Lord and Savior, and that you continue to live a “born again” life through His Word and Spirit.

Sunday Mass 10am         Antioch Cafe 4:30pm         Tuesday Prayer 7pm
Often when people meet, they ask each other what church they belong to. For us the answer would be Catholic because the word catholic means universal, as in the universal church of the world. We would also say we’re Pentecostal because we believe in the infilling of the Holy Spirit from the day of Pentecost. But then we would also have to say we’re Evangelical because Jesus instructed the disciples to evangelize. I could go on but you probably get my point. It’s not what we call ourselves, it’s that we know Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him!

What you will find at each Mass is a worship environment that is an interweaving of the liturgical-sacramental, charismatic, and evangelical church. Our worship is centered on God’s Word, it is positive and uplifting with great modern music to help you in your spiritual journey, and everyone is always welcome to communion.

We welcome the opportunity to visit with you, so please stop by or contact me if have questions or would like to talk.

Peace,
Father Michael Messina
